Ariel
The Little Mermaid
Ariel has not only been my favorite Disney Princess for over two decades, she has been my favorite character of all time. I connect to her curious and headstrong nature, and I've always been a dreamer. The ocean is definitely a huge part of my life, and the Little Mermaid has a lot to do with that!

Danganronpa
The first time I "played" Danganronpa, it was before the official English release of the game, so I did a written play-through over a weekend and fell in love with Junko as a character. She was surprising, a little crazy, and interesting in ways that are unlike almost any of the other characters I have cosplayed. Her pink pigtails are one of the most fun parts of cosplaying her, and I highly recommend the game series to anyone who hasn't played. Her character is not who you would expect.
Hermione Granger
Harry potter
As a middle school girl with bushy brown hair, a bossy personality, and an obsession with reading, Hermione was a very formative character for me! Cosplaying her is so much fun, as well as very easy and comfortable. These days, I’m not a fan or Harry Potter nor the creator, so I’ll likely never cosplay this character again, but it was fun to create these memories with friends through the franchise!
Nevertasia
Neverland Mermaid
Early in 2018, Ginny Di asked me to join her for a special Valentine's Day shoot and I was more than eager to accept! The concept is one that she had many years prior, with the beautiful centaurs from Fantasia being romanced by the equally gorgeous mermaids of Neverland; and thus, Nevertasia was born! I got to put together a look inspired by my FAVORITE mermaid from Peter Pan, AND got some of the best photos ever taken of me!
Black Cat
Marvel
I was first introduced to Felicia Hardy when obsessively playing through Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation 2, and while it wasn't love at first sight, I grew to adore the character of Black Cat as I delved into the world of comics. Gorgeous, flirty, and a bit of a wild-card, she wasn't the healthiest girlfriend for Peter, but she was never boring! So she became the first Spidey-Girlfriend I cosplayed!
Rapunzel
Tangled
I became immediately attached to Disney's rendition of Rapunzel as soon as I saw Tangled; creative, quirky, empathetic, and on top of that, she has green eyes like me! This dress based off of Hannah Alexander's Art Nouveau designs was a massive undertaking for me, but I knew I had to be part of this beautiful group so I dove in headfirst. There's a lot I want to go back and change, but I'm still very proud of how much I learned!
Wadanohara
Wadanohara and the great blue sea
Wadanohara is a cute little game with a darkness hiding just beneath the colorful, 8-bit surface. Even though it's not particularly well known, I was more than eager to put together a cosplay of the sweetest Sea-Witch! My boyfriend joined me as her edgy shark-boy familiar, and I'm especially proud of the fins he made! Even more fun, my blue material is scuba, making it completely water-proof (and character appropriate)!
Original characters
Lavender Elf
I love elves, and I will always jump at a chance to dress up as one! This shoot was more experimental, pretty things for the sake of being pretty, and I adore how Ginny Di edited them! To this day, even the makeup is among my favorite looks I've ever done.
Vampires
Teaming up with my boyfriend Halloween of 2018 was a total blast! We created vampiric characters and had a wonderful shoot with Ginny Di to showcase the designs!
Annabeth Chase
PERCY JACKSON
Percy Jackson and the Olympians is my first love and Special Interest; it introduced me to a life long adoration of Greek Mythology, and has been a constant companion of mine since it was first published in 2005. And in PJO, the character Annabeth Chase was exactly who I wanted to be— strong, smart, pretty, and flawed in ways I could relate to. I can think of nothing else that has had an effect on my life in a similar way, and I am so grateful for this series and character for getting me through some difficult times. Seeing myself as Annabeth is a dream come true, and despite the simplicity of it, it’s my favorite cosplay and the one I am most proud of. I cannot wait for a new generation to fall in love with both Annabeth and Percy with the upcoming Disney+ show!Percy Jackson
Maybe it's a little blasphemous, but "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" was my "Harry Potter" growing up! I was introduced to Riordan's world first, and got to grow up with the characters in the same way many grew up with Hogwarts. (Don't get me wrong, I love HP, but by the time I got to read them they were all published!) Annabeth was who I wanted to be like; smart, strong, pretty, and aware of her flaws and faults. It was 11-year-old me's dream to get to play her in the movies! My new dream is to someday get to meet Rick dressed as her.
Jack Frost
Jack Frost
Rise of the Guardians is a fantastic film that unfortunately did not get the attention or franchise it deserved! Despite that, I love Jack Frost and continue to enjoy the themes the story teaches to this day. The shoot I got to do with Ginny Di as my North was a blast, if not a bit freezing! Bare feet + negative degree weather = the cold definitely bothers me.
Maki Harukawa
danganronpa
Maki is among my newest cosplays, and one of my favorites to wear! Not only is it comfortable, but she's such a bad ass and getting to portray a character so different (both physically and in personality) from my others is a blast. Danganronpa V3 is an amazing game, and I highly recommend playing it to see more of this amazing gal-after the first two games, of course!
The Disciple
Homestuck
The Disciple is not a character who gets a lot of screen time in Homestuck, but she fascinates me all the same! The romantic interest of the alien planet's "messiah", she is all but legend to the modern trolls of the story. Fierce, loyal, a little savage, and with a beautiful story of heartbreak and perseverance behind her, I miss this cosplay! I DON'T miss painting myself grey, however.
Jadesprite
Homestuck
This may be a cosplay I only wore once, but I got the most beautiful images from it! Jadesprite is a crybaby, sure, but can you really blame her? She's half dead, half dog, knows too much, and is just dealing with a lot, okay? The group shoot we did in 2015 was so fun, and I still love the pictures we got!
Jade Harley
Homestuck
Jade Harley is definitely my favorite gal from Homestuck! I've cosplayed three different versions of her, and even though I'm not necessarily super into the fandom anymore, I still get the urge to throw her on and bring her to conventions! As a character, I admire how loyal and optimistic she is. Jade is one of the most powerful characters in the whole story, but if it's up to her, she would never use her powers to hurt others and I really admire that!
